2002 NFL Draft

The 2002 NFL Draft was held on April 20-21, 2002. A total of 261 players were chosen over 7 rounds. The Houston Texans chose Quarterback David Carr from Fresno State as the first pick in the draft. Future Hall of Famer Ed Reed was selected in this draft.
