The 1985 NFL Draft was held on April 30-May 1, 1985. A total of 336 players were chosen over 12 rounds. The Buffalo Bills chose Defensive End Bruce Smith from Virginia Tech as the first pick in the draft. Future Hall of Famers Bruce Smith, Chris Doleman, Jerry Rice, Andre Reed and Kevin Greene were selected in this draft.
