The 1982 NFL Draft was held on April 27-28, 1982. A total of 334 players were chosen over 12 rounds. The New England Patriots chose Defensive End Kenneth Sims from Texas as the first pick in the draft. Future Hall of Famers Mike Munchak, Marcus Allen, Andre Tippett and Morten Andersen were selected in this draft.
