It would appear Masthay has the edge, especially after his stellar punt last week against the Colts, which was muffed and recovered for a touchdown, and his strong week of practice that followed. The biggest concern about Masthay was his get-off time but during a practice this week, he was timed at an average of 1.99 seconds from the time the ball was snapped until it left his foot. Anything at 2 seconds or better is considered acceptable. Meanwhile, Bryan has been a bit more inconsistent with his hang times in the last couple of weeks.

For the last four years, Ryan Pickett had been Green Bay's run-stuffing, block-absorbing nose tackle. But the coaches had to find a way to get last year's first-round draft pick, B.J.
