Miami Dolphins LB Joey Porter voices discontent with officiating in final minutes of 29-28 loss to Houston Texans

Porter not happy with officiating : If its operator decides not to broadcast a controversial play that might hurt the home team, that's just as good as an admission of guilt to Joey Porter. During the Dolphins' 29-28 loss to the Texans, Porter is confident he sacked Houston quarterback Matt Schaub not once, but twice, on the Texans' game-winning drive. And on the second sack, Porter is confident he forced a fumble the Dolphins recovered. "I thought we won the game actually, but they kept getting calls. So, you know how that goes," said Porter, who had his way against Texans rookie left tackle Duane Brown, registering three tackles, one sack and one deflected pass Porter believes should have been a fumble. A turnover at that time would have given the Dolphins possession in the final two minutes and allowed the offense to close out a 28-23 win by killing the clock. But the play was ruled an incompletion on a short pass intended for tight end Owen Daniels. The drive eventually ended nine plays later when Schaub capped a 12-play, 76-yard drive with a 3-yard game-winning touchdown run on a quarterback draw. "I stripped that ball. I'm looking for an apology or something Tuesday or Wednesday. But it will be too late by then. The game's over," Porter said. "That point in time, I know for sure I had both his arms when the ball came out." Porter just might be getting something from the NFL this week. But more than likely it'll be a fine for criticizing the league's referees.

Dolphins' defense falters in loss to Texans

Dolphins' D can't hold onto lead The Miami Dolphins didn't "eat the cheese," as Coach Tony Sparano likes to say, and take the winless Houston Texans lightly. But they did provide the whine.

Texans get on board

HOUSTON -- Andre Johnson hung his head, furious at himself for fumbling near the goal line.
