What happened: With Braylon Edwards possibly out for the
next two preseason games with a cut on his right foot,
younger receivers such as Steve Sanders, Travis Wilson and
Syndric Steptoe received some work with the first team and
were productive. Sanders caught several passes from Derek
Anderson in team drills, and Steptoe caught a deep one for a
touchdown. The team was forced indoors for the evening
session, the first rainout of training camp after 20
practices. The two new safeties, Brandon Mitchell and
Travis Key, practiced with the team on a limited basis.
Tight end Kellen Winslow returned to team drills and made a
few plays.

developing good chemistry with Brady Quinn. RB Jerome
Harrison continues to have a strong camp. With tight ends
Kellen Winslow (hamstring) and Steve Heiden (knee) out,
third-year tight end Brad Cieslak is getting plenty of work
and has become a go-to guy for Quinn. Quinn was somewhat
