Hanie hopes he made lasting impression
Chicago Sun-Times | August 29, 2008

First-team defense takes the night off
Chicago Sun-Times | August 29, 2008
It either means everything, or it means nothing. All the Bears can do now is hope the preseason performance of their starting defense has no bearing on what is to come Sept. 7, when the 2008 season officially begins in Indianapolis.
It's first things worst
Chicago Sun-Times | August 29, 2008
Lovie Smith could have left his first-team defense on the field all night Thursday. The way it was playing, it would have only embarrassed itself further.
